One True Love

She makes me smile. Even when she’s not here, she makes me smile. A heart of gold and tantalizing beauty, glowing wherever she goes.

To see her, is the air I breath. Touching her, I lose control.

“What did you do today?” she asks, as I climb up the stairs.

“Pine for you,” reaching the top.

She gazes at me giggling that giggle that tells me how she feels. I peck her soft lips, and my insides explode.

After fifty years, I finally found my one true love
