Goodbye 2017, and don’t let the door hit you in the ass. Yeah, it’s been a bad year. Possible the worst of my life. Well, the worst that I remember.
I didn’t get as much writing done as I would’ve like because the dark side of life reared it’s ugly head. The stress of coping with my mother’s brain cancer, and the reality of her impending death is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
The little good news I had was that my short story, Brain, was published in the Science Fiction anthology, Escape the Planet of the Deviants.
In the coming year I plan to finish my novel, Evader, which I have been working on and off for a few years now. I also have a couple more works in progress, along with two unfinished short stories that need attention. With more ideas floating around in my head.
I’m excited about the possibilities of 2018, and making my dreams come true.
