Procrastination

I tend to go through fazes with everything I do.  I even do that with my writing.  I worked hard trying to change that, writing a little more each day.  I’m also trying to read more, or, better yet, faster.  But that’s another story.  I’m also the worlds biggest procrastinator.  Again, I have worked, and still am working on this.  Along with reading and writing more, I started to write book reviews.  My first review was a short story, so my review was short.  I then got brave, and reviewed a novel I enjoyed, by a writer friend.  I wasn’t really sure what I was doing.  How long it should be?  Should it be this short?  I got a note of appreciation, which was nice, and unexpected. When I was asked to review her up-coming book about writing, I jumped at the chance. When I started writing, I never thought I’d be asked, by a published author, to review a up-coming book. Needless to say, when it comes to working, my procrastinating days are over.
