Awards

I played in the “United Cerebral palsy” games in the early 80’s.  Won some medals and ribbons.  But I’m most proud of the award I won in sixth grade.  At the beginning and end of the school year we had to take a test in gym class.  A fitness test that was made up of a series of activitys.  After the test came to an end at the beginning of the year I wanted to do better in the spring test and get the inprovement award.  When that spring test came I was ready and excited for it.  I didn’t really expect to do better, it was just a goal I set for myself.  At the end of the test I was surprised to find out that I did better in every event.  I was presenteded the improvement award there in gym class.  If only they still had those tests in gym class.
